We continue to invest in our employee’s personal development. In 2009, we spent over £25,000 on external training, which equates to about £650 per employee. Our employees also completed a record amount of internal and external training courses during the year.
Early in 2009 we were awarded the Investor in People standard in recognition of our commitment to the training and development of our staff. This coveted status is only given to organisations that actively demonstrate consistent commitment to people development as a way of delivering its organisation’s goals. At Zeta, we understand the importance of ensuring that our employees are motivated, equipped with the right skills and able to fulfill their potential.
The assessors report highlighted several areas of strength where we had demonstrated good practice.
“This is an impressive and successful Company that works beyond the minimum level of the requirements for the Investors In People standard.”
At Zeta Compliance Group plc we invest heavily in our employees and strive for a workplace where opportunity, openness, enthusiasm, diversity, teamwork, accountability and a sense of purpose combine to provide a rewarding professional experience that promotes fairness, dignity and respect for all employees.
We also continue to invite employees to make suggestions for improvements at our company via our intranet site. These suggestions are evaluated and an action immediately placed by the appropriate person. This enables us to continually manage and improve our process which ultimately will deliver enhanced services for our customers.
Within the group, we annually compile and send out an internal survey to all staff that looks to evaluate working conditions, our facilities, training needs and overall job satisfaction.
We continually aim to provide our staff with the best equipment to fulfil their responsibilities, home broadband, wireless laptops, handheld PDAs and mobile network cards are also available to encourage flexible working and to provide better customer service.
We continue to offer childcare vouchers, private healthcare, company pension scheme and company share option schemes.
As part of developing a friendly environment we continue to have an active social events programme, which includes our annual Christmas party that is free for all employees.
